The Bear Grass Charter Bears volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Pamlico County Hurricanes to 2 in the Bears non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bears now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Ocracoke for a Atlantic 1A outing on Tuesday, September 9. Bear Grass Charter will play a Dolphins team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Washington Montessori (Washington, NC). The Dolphins record now stands at 1-0.
