Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Virgin Valley Bulldogs (Mesquite, NV) and the host Boulder City Eagles (Boulder City, NV), saw Virgin Valley's volleyball squad nudge Boulder City by a score of 3-2.

With the win, Virgin Valley improves its record to 7-5 on the season. The Bulldogs host The Meadows School (Las Vegas, NV) to encounter the Mustangs in a 3A Southern battle on Monday, September 8. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 6-3. The Meadows School won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Cristo Rey St. Viator (North Las Vegas, NV)

The Eagles now own a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Democracy Prep Agassi Campus for a 3A Southern contest on Monday, September 8. Boulder City will meet a Blue Knights team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Pahrump Valley (Pahrump, NV). The Blue Knights record now stands at 1-6.
