September 4, 2025: Emerson, NJ 07630 Emerson Cavaliers (Emerson, NJ) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Butler Bulldogs (Butler, NJ), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Emerson improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, NJ) to face the Crusaders in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. The Crusaders go into the test with a record of 2-0. Elmwood Park won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Saddle River Day (Saddle River, NJ)
The Bulldogs now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Manchester Regional for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Butler will face a Falcons squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Mary Help of Christians Academy (North Haledon, NJ). The Falcons record now stands at 0-1.
