Clear Creek Golddiggers (Evergreen, CO) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Platte Canyon Huskies (Bailey, CO), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Golddiggers (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lyons (Lyons, CO). The Lions come into the 2A/1A Mile High challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Lyons beat Golden View Classical Academy (Golden, CO), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Huskies play the Jefferson Saints (Edgewater, CO) in a 4A/3A/2A Frontier challenge, on Wednesday, September 10. Platte Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
