North Carolina High School Volleyball - Mount Tabor overwhelmed by Forbush

September 4, 2025: Winston-Salem, NC 27106

Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Mount Tabor Spartans (Winston-Salem, NC), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Falcons (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Surry Central (Dobson, NC). The Golden Eagles come into the Northwest 3A/4A challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Surry Central beat Elkin (Elkin, NC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans play the North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC) in a Piedmont Triad 5A/6A challenge, on Monday, September 8. Mount Tabor will attempt to advance on its 2-9 season record. The Black Knights go into the game with a 3-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Central Davidson (Lexington, NC).
