September 4, 2025: Hartsville, SC 29550 Governor's School for Science & Math Eagles (Hartsville, SC) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Virtus Academy Wolves (Florence, SC), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Governor's School for Science & Math advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Eagles host McBee (McBee, SC) to face the Panthers in a A Region 3 test on Monday, September 8. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 3-1. McBee lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Lewisville (Richburg, SC)
The Wolves now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Williamsburg Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9.
