September 4, 2025: Mayer, AZ 86333 Maryvale Prep Matador (Phoenix, AZ) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Mayer Wildcats (Mayer, AZ), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Maryvale Prep improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Matador travel to North Phoenix Preparatory Academy (Phoenix, AZ) to meet the Gladiators in a 1A - West challenge on Tuesday, September 9. The Gladiators enter the challenge with a record of 3-0.
