The Mt. Shasta Bears volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Modoc Braves to 0 in the Bears non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bears now have a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Etna for a non-league game on Saturday, September 6. Mt. Shasta will confront a Lions squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Hayfork (Hayfork, CA). The Lions record now stands at 6-3.
