In Thursday's non-league bout, the Norfolk Catholic Knights (Norfolk, NE) volleyball team held off the visiting Pierce Bluejays (Pierce, NE), by a margin of 3-2.

The Knights now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Lutheran-Northeast for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 9. Norfolk Catholic will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Oakland-Craig (Oakland, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 3-5.
