The Plainwell Trojans (Plainwell, MI) volleyball held off the host Portage Central Mustangs (Portage, MI), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league match.

Next up, the Trojans battle the Byron Center Bulldogs (Byron Center, MI) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 4. Plainwell will attempt to move on its 5-7 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 7-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Lowell (Lowell, MI).
