The Kalamazoo Christian Comets volleyball team (Kalamazoo, MI), was knocked off 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Portage Central Mustangs (Portage, MI)

The Mustangs (20-21) will now prepare for their contest against Bronson (Bronson, MI). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 27-12 record. In their last contest, Bronson notched a victory over Concord (Concord, MI), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Comets meet the Mattawan Wildcats (Mattawan, MI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 18. Kalamazoo Christian will attempt to move on its 23-14 season record. The Wildcats go into the battle with a 18-14 record after their 3-2 league loss to Lakeview (Battle Creek, MI).
