Michigan High School Volleyball - Catholic Central tips Portage Central

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Catholic Central Cougars volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Portage Central Mustangs.

With the win, Catholic Central advances its record to 31-10 on the season. The Cougars travel to Kalamazoo Christian (Kalamazoo, MI) to face the Comets in a non-league test on Saturday, October 18. The Comets go into the test with a record of 22-10. Kalamazoo Christian won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Centreville (Centreville, MI)

The Mustangs now sport a 18-19 record. They play next when they host Lakeview for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 22. Portage Central will play a Spartans team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Calhoun Christian (Battle Creek, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 33-7.
