September 5, 2023: Bailey, NC 27807 Southern Nash Firebirds (Bailey, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting North Johnston Panthers (Kenly, NC), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Firebirds clash with the Bunn Wildcats (Bunn, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 7. Southern Nash will attempt to advance on its 7-0 season record. The Wildcats come into the match with a 2-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Wake Prep Academy (Wake Forest, NC).
With the loss, North Johnston drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Farmville Central (Farmville, NC) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league match on Monday, September 11.
