Oklahoma High School Softball - Hulbert bounces Porter
September 5, 2023: Porter, OK 74454 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Hulbert Riders (Hulbert, OK) and the host Porter Pirates (Porter, OK), saw Hulbert's softball squad nip Porter by a count of 13-9.
The Riders now sport a 8-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Warner for a 2A match on Thursday, September 7. Hulbert will face a Eagles squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Stuart (Stuart, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 14-5.
With the loss, Porter falls to 8-17 on the campaign. The Pirates host Okmulgee (Okmulgee, OK) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Thursday, September 7. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 4-14. Okmulgee lost 10-0 in their recent non-league match against Eufaula (Eufaula, OK)
