Oklahoma High School Softball - Porter bounces Strother
August 24, 2023: Porter, OK 74454 The Porter Pirates routed the visiting Strother Yellowjackets softball squad by a final score of 11-0 in Thursday's league battle.
The Pirates (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Wellston (Wellston, OK). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Wellston notched a victory over Beggs (Beggs, OK), 8-4, in a non-league battle.
The Yellowjackets now possess a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Weleetka for a Class A battle on Friday, August 25. Strother will meet a Outlaws squad coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Olive (Drumright, OK). The Outlaws record now stands at 7-5.
