September 5, 2023: Viborg, SD 57070 Canistota Hawks (Canistota, SD) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Viborg/Hurley Cougars (Viborg, SD), 3-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Hawks clash with the St. Mary Cardinals (Dell Rapids, SD) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 7. Canistota will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Cardinals come into the match with a 3-2 record after their 3-2 league win over Oldham-Ramona/Rutland (Ramona, SD).
With the loss, Viborg/Hurley drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Gayville-Volin (Gayville, SD) to clash with the Raiders in a B Region 4 match on Tuesday, September 12. The Raiders come into the match with a record of 3-3.
