September 5, 2024: San Antonio, TX 78218 The East Central Hornets football squad scored 18 points and limited the host SA Roosevelt Rough Riders to 12 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Hornets now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Clark for a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. East Central will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 29-6 non-league win over Stevens (San Antonio, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, SA Roosevelt drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Rough riders travel to Judson (Converse, TX) to meet the Rockets in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 11. The Rockets come into the test with a record of 0-1. Judson lost 14-6 in their recent non-league test against Hutto (Hutto, TX)
