Washington High School Football - Kamiakin thwarted by Walla Walla
September 5, 2024: Walla Walla, WA 99362 Walla Walla Blue Devils (Walla Walla, WA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Kamiakin Braves (Kennewick, WA), 16-8 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Walla Walla improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Hermiston (Hermiston, WA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 11. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Hermiston lost 23-12 in their recent non-league battle against Richland (Richland, WA)
The Braves now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Chiawana for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 11. Kamiakin will play a Riverhawks team coming off a 34-28 non-league loss to Moses Lake (Moses Lake, WA). The Riverhawks record now stands at 0-1.
