With the triumph, Litchfield advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT) to clash with the Highlanders in a non-league test on Friday, September 6. The Highlanders come into the test with a record of 0-1. Northwestern Regional lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Thomaston (Thomaston, CT)
The Spartans now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Thomaston for a Berkshire test on Tuesday, September 10. Shepaug Valley will confront a Bears squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Pomperaug (Southbury, CT). The Bears record now stands at 1-0.
