September 5, 2024: Tucson, AZ 85704 Salpointe Catholic Lancers (Tucson, AZ) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions (Tucson, AZ), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Salpointe Catholic advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Lancers host Cienega (Vail, AZ) to face the Bobcats in a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 2-1.
The Lions now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Odyssey Institute for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 11. Pusch Ridge Christian Academy will face a Minotaur squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Highland Prep (Surprise, AZ). The Minotaur record now stands at 1-0.
