The Chaparral Wolverines triumphed over the host Cherry Creek Bruins softball squad by a count of 11-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Wolverines meet the Castle View Sabercats (Castle Rock, CO) in a 5A/4A Continental challenge, on Wednesday, September 11. Chaparral will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record.

The Bruins (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Legend (Parker, CO). The Titans enter the non-league challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Legend was routed by Blair (Blair, NE), 7-6, in a non-league challenge.
