The Lanier County Bulldogs overwhelmed the visiting Echols County Wildcats softball squad by a count of 11-3 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Miller County Pirates (Colquitt, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 7. Lanier County will attempt to upgrade on its 11-2 season record. The Pirates go into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 11-3 non-league win over Bainbridge (Bainbridge, GA).

The Wildcats (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Citizens Christian Academy (Douglas, GA). The Patriots go into the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record.
