September 5, 2024: Riverdale, GA 30274 The Riverdale Raiders triumphed over the visiting Stephenson Jaguars softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Thursday's league challenge.
Next, the Raiders meet the Banneker Trojans (College Park, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 9. Riverdale will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 24-0 league loss to McIntosh (Peachtree City, GA).
The Jaguars (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Luella (Luella, GA). The Lions enter the 3A Region 5 challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Luella overcame Stone Mountain (Stone Mountain, GA), 16-1, in a league challenge.
