September 5, 2024: Bruce, WI 54819 Cornell Chiefs (Cornell, WI) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Bruce Red Raiders (Bruce, WI), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Cornell improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Chiefs travel to Cumberland (Cumberland, WI) to face the Beavers in a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. The Beavers go into the test with a record of 2-8. Cumberland lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Luther (Onalaska, WI)
The Red Raiders now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Flambeau for a Lakeland - East test on Tuesday, September 10.
