Mississippi High School Volleyball - Callaway overwhelmed by Neshoba Central
September 5, 2024: Jackson, MS 39206 Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Callaway Chargers (Jackson, MS), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Neshoba Central improves its record to 14-3 on the season. The Rockets travel to Columbus (Columbus, MS) to face the Falcons in a Class 6A Region 2 test on Tuesday, September 10. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 8-8.
The Chargers now own a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Murrah for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. Callaway will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Madison Central (Madison, MS). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-7.
