September 5, 2024: Center Point, IA 52213 Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointers (Center Point, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Grinnell Tigers (Grinnell, IA), 3-1 in a league test.
With the win, Center Point-Urbana improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Stormin' Pointers travel to Beckman (Dyersville, IA) to face the Trailblazers in a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. The Trailblazers go into the test with a record of 5-0. Beckman won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Camanche (Camanche, IA)
The Tigers now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vinton-Shellsburg for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10.
