Tennessee High School Volleyball - Cherokee overwhelmed by Volunteer
September 5, 2024: Rogersville, TN 37857 Volunteer Falcons (Church Hill, TN) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Cherokee Chiefs (Rogersville, TN), 3-0 in a league test.
With the win, Volunteer advances its record to 7-1 on the season. The Falcons travel to Sullivan East (Bluff City, TN) to face the Patriots in a non-league test on Monday, September 9. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 1-11.
The Chiefs now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gibbs for a AA District 2 test on Tuesday, September 10. Cherokee will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Union County (Maynardville, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 7-5.
