Mississippi High School Volleyball - Seminary overwhelmed by South Jones
September 5, 2024: Seminary, MS 39479 South Jones Braves (Ellisville, MS) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Seminary Bulldogs (Seminary, MS), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, South Jones improves its record to 9-2 on the season. The Braves travel to Pass Christian (Pass Christian, MS) to face the Pirates in a non-league test on Friday, September 6. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 5-11. Pass Christian won 3-0 in their recent league test against Moss Point (Moss Point, MS)
The Bulldogs now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McLaurin for a Class 3A Region 6 test on Tuesday, September 10. Seminary will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Crystal Springs (Crystal Springs, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 4-2.
