September 5, 2025: Conrad, IA 50621 The BCLUW Comets football squad (Conrad, IA), was trounced 56-20 in Friday's league contest with the visiting West Fork Warhawks (Sheffield, IA)
The Warhawks (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Eagle Grove (Eagle Grove, IA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Eagle Grove was trounced by Ogden (Ogden, IA), 25-24, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Comets battle the Lake Mills Bulldogs (Lake Mills, IA) in a A District 2 contest, on Friday, September 12. BCLUW will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 36-15 non-league win over Central Springs (Manly, IA).
