The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Blount Leopards (Eight Mile, AL) and the host Murphy Panthers (Mobile, AL), witnessed Blount's football team bounce Murphy by a final score of 32-0.

With the win, Blount advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Leopards travel to Gulf Shores (Gulf Shores, AL) to encounter the Dolphins in a 6A Region 1 bout on Friday, September 19. The Dolphins go into the bout with a record of 0-3.

The Panthers now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Paul's Episcopal for a 6A Region 1 contest on Friday, September 12. Murphy will confront a Saints squad coming off a 48-17 league win over Baldwin County (Bay Minette, AL). The Saints record now stands at 2-0.
