The Unity Christian/Mt. Pulaski Lions football squad scored 58 points and limited the visiting Blue Ridge Knights to 14 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they host South Fork/Edinburg/Morrisonville for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 12. Unity Christian/Mt. Pulaski will meet a Ponies squad coming off a 40-6 league win over Oblong (Oblong, IL). The Ponies record now stands at 2-0.
