The Bristow Pirates (Bristow, OK) football tipped the visiting Cushing Tigers (Cushing, OK), 35-31 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Pirates now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Berryhill for a non-league outing on Friday, September 12. Bristow will clash with a Chiefs squad coming off a 31-30 non-league win over Fort Gibson (Fort Gibson, OK). The Chiefs record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Cushing drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Perkins-Tryon (Perkins, OK) to clash with the Demons in a non-league outing on Friday, September 12. The Demons come into the outing with a record of 1-0. Perkins-Tryon won 70-6 in their recent non-league outing against Dewey (Dewey, OK)
