In Friday's league match, the host Carver Montgomery Wolverines football team scored a nice 36-6 win over the JAG Jaguars.

With the win, Carver Montgomery improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Wolverines host Smiths Station (Smiths, AL) to meet the Panthers in a 7A Region 2 test on Friday, September 12. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 1-2. Smiths Station lost 56-20 in their recent league test against Central (Phenix City, AL)

With the defeat, JAG moves to 0-2 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Opelika (Opelika, AL) to play the Bulldogs in a 7A Region 2 challenge on Friday, September 12.
