The Cedar Grove Panthers were victorious over the host Weequahic Indians football team by a score of 23-14 in Friday's non-league test.

The Panthers now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Verona for a Super - National Red test on Friday, September 12. Cedar Grove will clash with a Hillbillies squad coming off a 22-20 non-league loss to Kinnelon (Kinnelon, NJ). The Hillbillies record now stands at 1-1.
