North Carolina High School Football - Cedar Ridge loses to Western Harnett

September 5, 2025: Hillsborough, NC 27278

The Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves football squad (Hillsborough, NC), was outscored 28-0 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC)

The Eagles (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Southern Lee (Sanford, NC). The Cavaliers enter the Carolina Pines 6A contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Southern Lee was outscored by Apex Friendship (Apex, NC), 40-21, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Fighting Red Wolves confront the McMichael Phoenix (Mayodan, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 12. Cedar Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Phoenix enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 34-7 non-league win over South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC).
