In Friday's non-league game, the Grace Prep Lions (Arlington, TX) football team beat the host Covenant Christian Cougars (Colleyville, TX), by a final score of 35-14.

With the win, Grace Prep advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Lions host McKinney Christian Academy (McKinney, TX) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 13.
