The D'Hanis Cowboys felled the host John Paul II Guardians football team by a score of 27-14 in Friday's non-league test.

The Cowboys now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host New Braunfels Christian Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20.

With the defeat, John Paul II drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Guardians host St. Anthony (San Antonio, TX) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 12. The Yellowjackets go into the challenge with a record of 1-1. St. Anthony lost 43-13 in their recent non-league challenge against New Braunfels Christian Academy (New Braunfels, TX)
