The Silver Bluff Bulldogs football team (Aiken, SC), was topped 36-21 in Friday's non-league match with the host Hampton County Hurricanes (Varnville, SC)

The Hurricanes (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Bluffton (Bluffton, SC). The Bobcats enter the non-league match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Bluffton thwarted Savannah Country Day (Savannah, GA), 33-20, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs confront the Blackville-Hilda Fighting Hawks (Blackville, SC) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 12. Silver Bluff will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Fighting Hawks enter the match with a 0-3 record after their 28-12 non-league loss to Ninety Six (Ninety Six, SC).
