The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Williams Valley Vikings (Tower City, PA) and the visiting Nativity BVM Green Wave (Pottsville, PA), witnessed Williams Valley's football squad wallop Nativity BVM by a count of 49-0.

The Vikings (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Minersville (Minersville, PA). The Battlin' Miners go into the Colonial-Schuylkill - C battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Minersville walloped Mahanoy Area (Mahanoy City, PA), 42-6, in a league battle.

The Green Wave now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Tri-Valley for a Colonial-Schuylkill - C battle on Friday, September 12. Nativity BVM will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 24-0 league win over Pine Grove (Pine Grove, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
