Oregon High School Football - North Salem prevails South Salem

In Friday's league match, the visiting North Salem Vikings football team scored a nice 49-32 win over the South Salem Saxons.

With the win, North Salem improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Vikings host South Medford (Medford, OR) to play the Panthers in a 6A Special District 1 battle on Friday, September 12. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 0-2. South Medford lost 34-7 in their recent league battle against Willamette (Eugene, OR)

The Saxons now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Tualatin for a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. South Salem will play a Timberwolves team coming off a 13-7 non-league win over Jesuit (Portland, OR). The Timberwolves record now stands at 2-0.
