In Friday's non-league game, the Valley Indians (Lucasville, OH) football team overcame the visiting Piketon Redstreaks (Piketon, OH), by a margin of 24-7.

The Indians now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waverly for a Southern Ohio II outing on Friday, September 12. Valley will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 49-6 non-league loss to Unioto (Chillicothe, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 0-3.
