In Friday's league game, the Valley Indians (Lucasville, OH) football team edged the host Northwest Mohawks (McDermott, OH), by a tally of 21-20.

Next up, the Indians encounter the Portsmouth West Senators (West Portsmouth, OH) in a Southern Ohio II bout, on Friday, October 3. Valley will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Senators go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 40-8 league win over Minford (Minford, OH).
