Ohio High School Football - Valley defeated by Portsmouth West

The Portsmouth West Senators were victorious over the host Valley Indians football team by a score of 44-20 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Senators face the Northwest Mohawks (McDermott, OH) in a Southern Ohio II challenge, on Friday, October 10. Portsmouth West will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Mohawks enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 43-22 non-league win over Vinton County (McArthur, OH).

The Indians (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Oak Hill (Oak Hill, OH). The Oaks come into the Southern Ohio II test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Oak Hill was defeated by Wheelersburg (Wheelersburg, OH), 52-8, in a league test.
