In Friday's non-league game, the Skutt Catholic SkyHawks (Omaha, NE) football team were victorious over the visiting Standing Bear Grizzlies (Lincoln, NE), by a score of 35-7.

In their next game, the SkyHawks face the Plattsmouth Blue Devils (Plattsmouth, NE) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 12. Skutt Catholic will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Blue Devils enter the game with a 2-0 record after their 28-19 non-league win over Elkhorn (Elkhorn, NE).
