In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Whitefield Academy Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Cornerstone Family Saints.

The Lions (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Shawnee Mission Christian (Shawnee Mission, KS). The Mustangs go into the test with a 0-3 record.

The Saints now own a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Freshman Opponent for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 9.
