September 5, 2025: Charlotte, NC 28270 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Sugar Creek Charter Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) and the host The Fletcher School Falcons (Charlotte, NC), saw Sugar Creek Charter's soccer squad prevail over The Fletcher School by a count of 5-1.
The Wildcats (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC). The Stallions enter the Catawba River 1A/2A/3A battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Queen's Grant by Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC), 3-0, in a non-league match.
The Falcons now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Ambassador Christian School for a non-league match on Monday, September 8. The Fletcher School will meet a Lions team coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Christ School (Arden, NC). The Lions record now stands at 2-2.
