The Air Academy Kadets edged the visiting Berthoud Spartans softball squad by a count of 7-6 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Kadets confront the Frederick Golden Eagles (Frederick, CO) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 5. Air Academy will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the battle with a 5-2 record after their 6-3 league win over Mead (Longmont, CO).
