Fans at Friday's league contest between the Hanks Knights (El Paso, TX) and the visiting Bel Air Highlanders (El Paso, TX), observed Hanks's volleyball team hold off Bel Air by a count of 3-2.

The Knights (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against Horizon (El Paso, TX). The Scorpions enter the 5A Region I District 2 battle with a 8-16 record. In their last battle, Horizon tipped Parkland (El Paso, TX), 3-1, in a league battle.

The Highlanders now own a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Del Valle for a 5A Region I District 2 battle on Tuesday, September 9. Bel Air will encounter a Conquistadores squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Americas (El Paso, TX). The Conquistadores record now stands at 15-10.
