California High School Volleyball - Compton tips Compton Early College
September 5, 2025: Compton, CA 90222 In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Compton Tarbabes volleyball squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Compton Early College Rising Phoenix.
With the win, Compton advances its record to 4-2 on the season. The Tarbabes travel to Millikan (Long Beach, CA) to face the Rams in a Moore test on Tuesday, September 9. The Rams go into the test with a record of 12-5. Millikan won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Cypress (Cypress, CA)
The Rising Phoenix now sport a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pacific Lutheran for a Mulholland test on Tuesday, September 9. Compton Early College will play a Stingrays team coming off a 3-0 league win over Ambassador (Torrance, CA). The Stingrays record now stands at 1-0.
