Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Creede Miners (Creede, CO) and the host Mountain Valley Wolves (Saguache, CO), observed Creede's volleyball team hold off Mountain Valley by a count of 2-1.

With the win, Creede improves its record to 4-2 on the season. The Miners host Antonito (Antonito, CO) to encounter the Trojans in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. The Trojans go into the battle with a record of 1-2.

The Wolves now own a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cripple Creek-Victor for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13.
